Design | Make – Design and make robotic sculptures! For the first three days of camp, students will explore a range of techniques to create inexpensive interactive sculptures, before diving into an independent or group project of their own design. Along the way they’ll create pop-up paper art, build paper circuits, learn to 3D print, and explore mechanics by creating sculptures that move on their own. Students will also program Arduino microcontrollers to incorporate LEDs, sensors, and other electronics into their creations. This program provides hands-on training in the basic principles of electronics and how to use a laser cutter and 3D printer.
