Take a journey back in time and visit the world of medieval engineering! In this class, we’ll be explore the design and physics behind several types of siege machines such as catapults, trebuchets and ballistas. Throughout the week, we’ll construct our own siege machine using both medieval and modern engineering and construction techniques. To conclude the week, we’ll have a competition to see who has built the most accurate machine. Following the competition, each participant will take home the device they created. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn all about medieval engineering techniques, projectile motion physics and even a little bit of history!
